Vision

Two problems.
Then a different road.

Conventional farming lost the plant's defenses, then made pesticides the answer.

Step 1 of 3

01 Problem one

Modified seed left the plant undefended

Conventional seed was bred to yield inside a chemical program. The defenses a plant carries on its own were not the traits that program kept. Genetically modified seed reached the row as a crop that could no longer answer a threat by itself.

02 Problem two

Pesticides took the job the plant lost

A field without natural defenses cannot hold itself. Pesticides become required, and they clear a threat by killing widely. That is plant chemotherapy: a hard treatment for a crop that was left unable to respond.

The words are a comparison for the field. rechem does not make human medicine.

03 The vision

Hemp can be grown to defend itself

Hemp still has the chance to take the immunotherapy route. The vision is planting chemistry that supports the crop's own defense, from the seed through the stand. A stronger crop is a more economical crop: fiber and grain that hold their value because the plant was prepared, not rescued all season.

Seed

The stand is decided before the first true leaves. Seed and planting chemistry is where rechem starts: organic inputs on the seed and in the furrow, so the plant is prepared for the row it is about to enter. A rescue spray later in the season is a different idea, and it is not ours.

Fiber

Open the Fiber guide →

Fiber hemp is a stand of stalks. Uniform emergence, a healthy early canopy, and ground that is still alive are the crop. rechem's fiber program is organic chemistry at planting, so that stand comes up able to defend itself. The work is in the seed and the furrow, where the fiber crop is actually decided.

In the stand

Health is a relationship.

Immunity is the method. Soil is the test. A product that prepares the plant and empties the ground has not done the job.

Soil

Open the Soil guide →

Regenerative chemistry is a claim about the ground, not only about the crop. If the product works by clearing life out of the field, the crop is renting a season from a system that then has to be rebuilt. rechem's planting chemistry is organic and narrow on purpose: the seed, the furrow, the early stand. The soil is supposed to still be soil when the hemp comes off.

Immunity

Open the Immunity guide →

Chemotherapy attacks broadly and the body pays for the blast. A lot of pesticide practice does the same thing to a field. Immunotherapy is the other medical idea: help the organism respond. rechem uses that second idea for plants. Organic seed and planting chemistry, aimed at the crop's own defenses. This is a comparison about crops. rechem does not make medicine for people.

A Heartland company

rechem is the chemistry practice inside Heartland. Hemp fiber and hemp grain are where that practice meets a farm.
