Seed

Organic chemistry on the seed, before the row is planted

Why this band exists

The stand is decided before the first true leaves. Seed and planting chemistry is where rechem starts: organic inputs on the seed and in the furrow, so the plant is prepared for the row it is about to enter. A rescue spray later in the season is a different idea, and it is not ours.

Why now

Hemp fiber and hemp grain both live or fail on emergence. Farmers already know the planting pass is the expensive one to get wrong. That is the moment for chemistry that stays on the side of the plant, while the crop is still becoming a stand.

How it fits

Seed is the first band because fiber and grain both pass through it. Immunity is the reason the chemistry is shaped the way it is. Soil is the ground that pass has to leave able to work. Heartland is the company this practice sits inside.

Stars in Seed

Each part of this band is a place the chemistry has to work. Open the field note, then the next part of the field.

  • Seed coat · instead of a pesticide drench

Organic chemistry on the seed itself, so the plant meets the row already prepared.

  • Planting pass · instead of a sterilizing furrow spray

Chemistry that goes down with the seed, aimed at emergence and an even early stand.

Where to start

  1. Start with the seed, before a mid-season rescue spray is the plan.
  2. Ask what the planting pass does to the stand and to the living soil around it.
  3. Read the fiber note or the grain note for the hemp crop you actually grow.
