Grain

Planting chemistry for hemp grown for grain

Why this band exists

Grain hemp is a seed crop. The planting chemistry has to serve the plants that will flower and set seed, not a program borrowed from a fiber field or from a crop that is sprayed until it is quiet. rechem's grain program stays organic, and it stays at the seed and the planting pass.

Why now

A grain farmer is paid for what the head holds. Establishment still decides whether those heads are on plants that had a fair start. That is the window rechem is built for, before the season turns into a series of rescues.

How it fits

Grain uses the same seed band as fiber, then a different plant: flowering, seed set, and a stand you can harvest cleanly. Immunity is how we talk about protection. Soil is the partner that has to carry the next grain crop too.

Stars in Grain

Each part of this band is a place the chemistry has to work. Open the field note, then the next part of the field.

  • Grain stand · instead of a season of rescue sprays

Organic planting chemistry for the hemp plants that have to flower and set seed.

  • Seed set

A fair start is what a grain head can actually use. The chemistry belongs at establishment.

Where to start

  1. Plan the grain crop from the seed and the planting pass, not from a mid-season rescue.
  2. Keep fiber chemistry and grain chemistry as siblings, not copies.
  3. Read the grain note next to the fiber note if you grow both.
